hello,
is it possible to create or read a database in an application, then call an exported function, in a dll, that take this database in parameter and add entities to this database ?
i am trying to develop an application that can load libraries like autocad can load arx.
i think that odamfcappdll is the good example. in this application we can load an application with .drx or .dll extention, there is no example of a drx application, can i try to make one or is it too earlier ?
i found (not easily) a drx application "excustobjs_dll.dsp" and i test it with odamfcappdll, it works really fine !
that's what i want to do !
can i use it ?
dynamic loading support was added to 1.10 update as a beta feature.
you can use excustobjs as a sample for custom entities and objects. commands stuff will be sligtly changed in next release.
you'll also have to rebuild your drx dll to run it with new dwgdirect version.

it will not a be problem for me, to rebuild my drx dll with the new dwgdirect version.
for the moment i am just trying to add an extention for my dwgdirect application and excustobjs_dll is a good sample !
