默认 standard aircraft drawing views

standard aircraft drawing views
are there any drawing standards that dictate the aircraft orientation in drawing views("top", "front" "left" views)? as for me, a "top view" would always be looking down at the top of the aircraft, with forward to the left. a "front view" would be looking at the left side of the aircraft. a "left view" would be a looking aft from the front of the plane. a "right view" would be looking forward from the aft of the plane.
check out our whitepaper library.
hope this helps.

i think you've got it down. chris' attachment agrees.
believe it if you need it or leave it if you dare.fff"> - robert hunter
thanks for your replies...but what i am looking for is a document dictates that the aircraft look to the left. some of the people where i work want the "front view" to be looking at the front of the aircraft. that would make the "top view" looking down, "left side view" looking at the right side of the aircraft and "right side view" looking at the left side of the aircraft. there is asme y14.100 for engineering drawing practices, but are there any standards that dictate the orientation of aircraft views? again, thanks for any input.
the one i show is from a standard, just can't say which.

that is what "front view" means.
here is a view of the front of the whatever.
why would you want a front view that shows the side of something?
