true position?
i have three holes on a common centerline. i want to maintain a close distance to the centline with respect to each other. however, i can allow the centerline a large tolerance from the edge of the plate. if i apply a large tolerance from the centerline to the edge won't each hole be allowed to differ from the centerline by that tolerance via 14.5? how do i dimension the drawing to accomplish my goal.

take a look at composite tolerancing. specifically, fig 5-19 and fig 5-20 on pages 96-106 of asme y14.5m - 1994
unfortunately i don't have a copy of 14.5. can you point me to somewhere on the web i can take a look at it?
