mechanical drawing question: what does (banking dim) mean?
what does (banking dim) mean? this comes from a "1971" manifold drawing. the material is a forging. any help would be greatly appreciated...thanks darren

are you sure it isn't a mis-print of "blanking dimension"? this would make more sense in relation to forgings.

the "banking" dimension is on the drawing in two different locations. one location as a reference to the first. a miss print is probable but the dual and seperate entries both identified as "banking" still leaves me in question.
