adoption of 13th edition of steel construction manual
have any model building codes adopted the 13th edition of steel construction manual?
ibc 2006
have any states adopted ibc 2006 yet?
georgia, iowa, washington
pima county (southeast arizona) has adoped the 2006 ibc as on 1 jan 07. i do not know about the rest of the state.
ohio had public hearings on adopting the 2006 ibc last november and i think adoption will be this spring.

philadelphia has adopted ibc 2006, but i am not sure about the rest of pennsylvania.
does ibc2006 still permit allowable stress design per aisc 9th ed?
my understanding is that ibc 2006 does not recongnize asd 9th edition.
i was hoping that the old asd and the new asd would overlap for at least one code cycle.
