anchor bolts lenght
hi.
im designing an api-650 storage tank, the calcs say that the tank must be anchored, the problem it that i dont know how to calculate the lenght of the anchor bolts, in order to design the foundation.
any guidelines??, rules or something??. help please.

aci 318 appendix d if you are in the u.s.
appendix d of aci 318 is the source. it's a bit involved, but spend a little time getting acquainted with it and it works well.
addendum 4 of api-650 revises some of the anchorage requirements- get it if you don't have. it can be downloaded for free if you have purchased api-650.
