默认 cfs joist bearing

cfs joist bearing
3/4" 48/24 floor sheathing over 1.0c20 metal deck over cfs floor joists bearing on cfs wall. if the joists are (simpson) tension cross-braced at mid-span, not suseptible to web-crippling and metal deck is fastened to cfs joists and rim track at 12" oc, is there a need to have the joists physically clip-angled to the rim joist?
the dilemma is that the tek screws would stick out of the outside of track making it difficult to finish even with 1/2" gypsum, depending on screw length. i'm assuming that the fasteners coming in from the back side of the rim joist might bend the clip leg before biting in. and if the clip is a dietrich clip with prepunched holes, the chances of hitting the holes are slim.
what are your thoughts? thank you!
check out our whitepaper library.
concern would be lateral roll-over of the joists in mass, as the rim track would normally be depended on for that stability. friction would be the only help. also, i assume that the joists could be screwed downward into the top track of the wall. that would be helpful. perhaps an additional row of bridging near the wall supports?
