coupled walls / moment frames
folks,
are there published formulae or quick ways to determine lateral stiffness of coupled shear walls and multi-bay moment frames without doing fancy analysis? i want to be able to account for the flexural stiffness of the coupling beams/frames.

tall building structures analysis and design by smith and coull has an excellent formulation for coupled shear walls and wall-frame structures, complete with examples, but i wouldn't call it quick.
