默认 design of anchor bolt for seismic load cases

design of anchor bolt for seismic load cases
i could have included this topic in my previous post but to avoid any mix up i have created a new one.
need to design anchor bolts as per the load comb given in asce-7.
section 8.5b of seismic provisions (2005) says anchor bolt of column bases should be designed for the summation of :
1.horizontal compo of "required strenght" of the bracing connection for the seismic load resisiting system and
2. horiz. compo of column which should be lesser of the following:
a) 2ry*fy*zx/h
b) shear calculated using the load comb of the applied building code including amplified seismic laods.
my question is in our analysis we get the reactions from column and bracing jointly. then do we still need to consider the column n bracing individully. moreover what is the mening of "required strength" of bracing connection. is it the design force * material over strength factor.
thanks
well i have designed a lot of piperack and when we design baseplate or foundation or anchor bolt, we just get the support reaction.
