dynamic analysis with ram-advanse
we are assessing the condition of a 11-story building. the assessment should include its resistance to lateral loads. the building is more than 60 years old and is steel framed.
we modeled the building using ramadvanse. the base shear we are getting is different from the base shear using static analysis. i think we did not get the loading right, (period vs acceleration). question:
1-can anybody please give me the (t) vs (a) values for hamilton,ontario, and what scaling factors should be used?
