默认 explosion proof concrete

explosion proof concrete
does any body know roughly what sort of force per area is needed to be withstanded for concrete to be explosion proof. or is there anywhere information like this can be got or formula to calculate values based on given areas e.g.4 square metre surfaces?
what kind of explosion? eg detonators, anfo, nuclear blasts, it greatly depends on the type, you might want to check out the us engineers corps site for some guidance.
what are you designing/building that requires blast containment?
regards
sc
the blast will be from electrical equipment. voltage up to approx. 24kv. housing to contain equipment to withstand possible forces.
i recommend that you check the reference asce report "design of blast resistant buildings in petrochemical facilities". in this report you will find excellent information on designing of reinfoirced concrete structures against blast loads.
