默认 in slab heat tubing

in slab heat tubing
have a job where they are using in in-slab heat tubing ~5/8" diameter. they want the tubing on top of the welded wire fabric ~1" clear from the surface of the slab-on-grade which puts the wwf in the middle of the slab. we specify that the wwf is to be in the top 1/3 of the slab thickness.
i've expressed my concern about slab joints and they say the will work around them.
curious how others detail this condition.
thanks,
check out our whitepaper library.
shoot - if you can get your wwf in the middle of the slab - that is a victory in and of itself. usually wwf lies in the dirt at the bottom of the slab.

i personally would not worry about special detailing at the crack control joints. but would seperate out my tubing in zones at any construction joints to prevent tubing failure when the slabs have slight movement at the construction joints inthe future.
as far as the wwf in the middle third not a big deal in my book. like the previous post said half the time i imagine it is located in the dirt with residential work.
consider getting rid of the wire altogether and going with fiber mesh. then they can't screw it up.
