line load on un-supported edge of slab
i'm doing some design checks of a building. designer has placed a brick wall on the un-supported edge of a one way slab. slab thickness is 115mm while the span is approximately 2800mm. reinforcement is brc mesh. from the past experience i know that this results an unnecessary deflection on edge of the slab.
my problem is how to prove this fact with help of calculations.
