i am trying to get a hold of hrennikoff, a. (1950) "analysis of pile foundations with batter piles," transactions, american society of civil engineers vol 115, 351-383.
does someone know if where i can get access to this article? is this info. available to the public or do you have to purchase this book/magazine?

many university libraries have asce transactions back that far. if you don't have a university libary near you, i think your local public library can get it for you on interlibary loan. (libraries can borrow from other libraries. they might be able to borrow the book so you can copy it (may be legal issues there) or else they may get a copy for you.)
