默认 older double tee properties

older double tee properties
i am looking at a building around 30 years old that used concrete double tees for the roof which are spanning 26 feet. the sections appear to be 60" wide with centers of the stems at 48" apart. flange is 2" thick with a 2-1/2" topping. stems are 5" wide at the base and extend down only 7-1/2". of course, i have no information available on original design capacities or beam properties. anyone have ideas on where to track down some older design info? i realize assumptions will be in order, but don't want to get overly conservative.
stems are flat at bottom, leading me to believe maybe blocks were put in original forms to make them shallower. seem to remember that this was done for some orders to keep from making special forms.
try to ask pci about this. they should have historic data. their e-mail:
i would also check with some of the local double tee precasters in the area (75 mile radius) to see if they furnished the orginal product. if you get lucky, they would have copies of their old design tables.
try search on the internet. i was successful in the past by searching the internet. old pci handbook is always a good reference as mentioned earlier. i also check with older colleagues who may have kept some double tee design tables.
good luck
