pump pit approximate concrete thickness.
for estimate purposes i'm looking for likely concrete thicknesses for a buried pump pit, 6.5 m deep, 6 m diameter.
i need wall and floor thickness.
does anyone have this information at hand?

you'll need to design it to get the specifics, but 12 inches will probably do for a round pit. the thickness will be governed by getting two mats of reinforcement in.

if there is a high water table and depending on wall thickness, you may need to arbitrarily increase the floor thickness just to provide enough total concrete mass to resist the pit's buoyancy and possible flotation.
