shear wall: how to do with pu>0.35po
the boss want me to design shear wall. the firsr time for me, so i would like to be consultancy.
i am reading manual of etabs i found the condition:
pu<0.35p0;
manual says: if pu>0.35p0, -> not check for shear wall;
i have looked for some original standards and original document but i could not find the provisions or content about above condition.
could you help me solve this problem!
