i would like to know what is the best approach for calculating the skidbase beam strength of a generator set package where the skidbase is to be welded to the deck structure of a platform. if the skidbase is fully welded to the deck, how should the support be determined as?
in addition, what are the methods for analysing transportation & seimic load in such condition.
