software for transmission tower design
can some body help me, to find out any software for transmission tower & microwave tower analysis, design and optimization.
there was some discussion in this section earlier in the year or late last year. do a search on "transmission towers" in the forum and i'm sure you will find it.
we use eritower by c-concepts at

pls cad by alain peyrot at the university of wisconsin has a tower option for the analysis/design of latticed transmission towers. the software is utilized by many of the u.s. electric utility companies and their consultants; also accepted worldwide. the entire software package is excellent.

in my opinion sap2000 is a good choice, easy to use software.iam also working on a project related to 50 meter high communication tower and started finding the geometry of that system using sap2000.
you can easily download its educational version for free.

i am looking for a software, which can do transmission & communication tower analysis, design, and even preparing the fabrication drawings. analysis & design for various country standards. design includes connections also.
