tension force connection of phc pile to pile cap
dear all
does anyone has experience or suggestion on connection of hollow prestressed concrete spun piles subject to tension with their pile caps.
our large spanning warehouse with strong wind resulting in net uplift force in these phc piles say 20-30 kips per pile.problem to us is how to detail this connection to hold tensile force back to hollow pile. suppose pile doesn't has problem with tensile force regarding capacity of soil.
