默认 riangular plates

triangular plates
i need to evaluate uniformly loaded, simply supported plates in the shape of an isosceles triangle. i don't have a copy of roark, but would that book cover it? can anyone offer any guidance on this (other than fea)?
thanks
roark has a solution for a simply supported right angle isosceles triangle.
the plastic moment from ferguson for a triangularly supported concrete slab, assuming isotropic reinforcing is qr2/6 where r is th inscribed circle radius. confirm prior to use.
dik
thank you both.
i am assuming that none of roark's tables are published anywhere online?
i have several of the tables for rectangular plates, but nothing for triangular. i plan on getting the 7th edition, but i'm hoping to wrap this up before fedex makes the delivery.
if you have the table for flat plates of constant thickness with straight boundaries, it's at the end, case 18 in the 5th ed. i believe mathsoft provides the tables as part of a package.
thanks again. we finally located one of the copies that was floating around the office.
for anyone looking for this info:
max stress = (0.262qa^2)/t^2
max defl = (0.038qa^4)/et^3
q=uniform load
a=dist from the right angle to the center of the hypot.
t=plate thickness
