i´d like to know if anyone could help me in some book or article about vertical prestressin for shear stregthening.

is the strengthening application for increasing the beam-shear capacity of an rc beam, bridge girder, wall, column?
vertical post-tensioning is occasionally used in bridges where the webs of box girders need additional shear reinforcement and crack control.
need a bit more info from you - is this an external vertical pt application? describe the situation a little more and i will see if the papers i have are relevant.

i want to use vertical or diagonal prestressing for strengthening of slab that is showing some bad behaviour in punching shear. so this isn't an external, but internal prestressing. there is an article by ghali, 1974 about this, but i would like some more advanced.
