warping torsion: section properties
i would like to know some cheap or shareware spreadsheets or excutable programs to calculate section properties like warping, torsion constant, etc.

try the site below under beams->sections

for the ordinary shapes you better read such properties in tables since more accurate out of better knowledge of the typical shape. the aisc manual or the publication
torsional analysis of steel members
aisc pub t114 (2m 7/90)
have such tables for the american practices.
based in this publication i soon will post in the collaboratory for their free download sheets for the automatical calculation of such properties for double tees, zetas and channels, but better use tables if available.
