i want to install pc dmis 4.1 . does anybody khow that pcdmis software is compatible with ucc2 controller?
please help me in this case and let me have your comments.
i have seen it run on a ucc1. but hexagon will deny knowledge and does not want pc-dmis on a ucc1/2 controller. they want you to be forced to used them for service etc..
the ucc2 & ucclite are both i++ compatible. almost all of the cmm software companies are complying but are reluctant to advertise due to the oen architecture, which allows others to access the errorma.
new renishaw products h as revo & gyro will only run on the ucc2 so they will eventually take the ath if their customers ask for it.

but now i have new question.... what is ucc server?
this is renishaw software that sets u the probing and machine, this is just for the renishaw controller.
call me for a more elaborate description if needed.
