solidworks 2008 api sdk and vb express 2008
i'm tring to integrate the swx 2008 api sdk into visual studio 2008 so i can use the solidworks .dll wizard (new to dlls).
however... it appears the latest version of vb .net the sdk was setup for is 2003, or version 7 as it were.
does anyone know how to get this to work w/ version 9, or visual studio 2008? i've attempted to setup the folder structure the same for v9 as previous versions and the icon shows up under the project templates... but it fails to create the project when i try to use it.
any help would be appreciated.

there should be nothing wrong with using the 2005 version of templates as nothing has changed in the structure that is not supported by 2008, although personally i created my own templates and have not used any sdk ones.

did you registrer solidworkstools.dll (with gacutil.exe)?
