probably its very simpel, but i just don't get it ..

how can i check if part "a" is already inserted in an assembly ??

just go to assembly tree, right click on any part say "goto" type the part number. if u get the part its ok or else insert it.
just check it once..............it may help u

yes, but i want to check it in vba, not in my assembly-tree.
so, do you have some vba code for it ..

i've seen this, but not used it. perhaps you can get some ideas from it. let me know if this helps
