this has happened using vc++ 6.0, dd231, odamfcapp (debug and release versions).
screenshots of odamfcapp and autocad 2007 displaying testdd231.dwg are attached.

i got 'ole' assert and crash after loading file to debug vc6. release vc6 works fine. did you test rebuilded mfcapp or from our zips?
do you mean if i've modified code in your examples?, answer is no.
i've just uncompressed and builded again your dd231 examples and problem persists, screenshots of my first message are still valid.
i don't receive any message from debug version.

hmm, it seems that defect is pc dependent. you have problems with rendering, i have problem with debug dll only, but all other guys from our team havn't any problems with attached file.
ok, i'll take in account what you say, but dd220 and dd2401 open the file right.
which could be the pc dependence that is different between dd releases?
