hi to all,
a problem occurs in our attempts to export layer state to a file.
here is some sample code used in the odamfcapp:

oddblayerstate::save(pdb,"ls1",0xffff,null);
odstreambufptr pbuf;
try{
pbuf = theapp.createfile("c:\\layerstate.txt",oda::kfilewrite,oda::ksharedenywrite,oda::kcreatealways);

}catch(oderror& ){
afxmessagebox("error with opening file");
}
try{
oddblayerstate::exportdata(pdb.get(),"ls1",pbuf.get());

pbuf->release();
please, have a look at it and tell us if it is a problem in our code or it's a dd bug.
