linux library versions for gnu c library 2.2
is there a version of the dwgdirect linux libraries (*.a) that is built with gnu c library version 2.2. the current ones seem to have been built with version 2.3?
i'm using sun's jds linux which only has version 2.2 of glibc available. when i try to build odcopyex.cpp i get an error because __ctype_b_loc (added 2.3) isn't defined.

we don't have a version built with glibc 2.2 on linux. for clients who need special platform builds, we recommend upgrading your membership to founding level. founding members have access to our source code, which allows them to build dwgdirect in a custom manner.

there was a similar issue a while ago with the opendwg toolkit and backward compatibility with glibc versions. i posted a fix (a hack, actually) which worked for me. that problem was with tolower/toupper, not ctype, but a similar fix may work for you. it's in the opendwg toolkit/viewkit forum, "problems linking odv..." around march-may 2003.
