hi,
i'm a newbie to this stuff, and am trying to work my way through the samples to see what i have to do to create and display a new entity on the sample dwg drawing i'm working with.
i seem to have created a new entity called alientity, which shows up in the block table (if i look at i with odamfcapp), with acdbblockbegin and acdbblockend entries below, enclosing an entry called <proxy>calientity. i've based this new entity on the oddbcircle object (with really no change), but when i've created it, nothing show up on the drawing. what else do i have to do to make the new circle display correctly?
do you create the entity in your application and try to see it odamfcapp? if so your drx implementing the entity should be accessible to odamfcapp too. if it's not accessible only proxy graphics saved to file can be displayed. if proxy graphics is saved to file or not is controlled by proxygraphics system variable.
