is it possible to send stats to a database and transfer stats? does the placement of “stats on” or “stats transfer”, either at the beginning or end, matter in the program? i am currently transferring stats to a server e pulling certain dimensions out and using them in a sc program. along with this i would like to kee an electronic record of the remaining dimensions. i would save the reports as a .df or .rtf but it seems my version only rints files to the “c:\cdmis” directory when using marked sets in operator mode.
i have a software that can conect to your cmm and collect every dimension that you measure. this data can be saved to an access database where retrieval of one or more dimesions into excell or your sc software is a breeze. this sofware also provides your analysis of your measurement results real time.....and aer less.

i am glad that qc calc has been a good product for you. the product that i offer is extremely affordable, extremely user friendly and was developed by me for use with cmm's and will also work with any gage that has an rs232 port, or a printer port.
we claim nothing excet an very easy way to get all insection data no matter how measured into one access database. once it is there what you do with it is u to you. however i have used it in conjuction with several sc packages and works very well. one other comment, i am not a comany that sells this for my lively hood. i am a quality manager/cmm rogrammer in the trenches with everyone else. this is a product i develoed that also is extremely user friendly and owerful that i offer to other users at a very affordable rice.
i did download a demo version of the real time qc calc today. it does look like some very good software as well.
just my 2cents.
does your product answer questions about pc-dmis. i didn't think i posted a question about where to buy software that does what i am already doing.
well....did not know if you were interested in other solutions. i don't really make any money on what i sell.....i was just trying to be helfull.
