weight of spray on fire proofing
i am away form my office and need the weight (psf) of spray on proffing.
your help would be much appreciated.

lutfi - per us army coe usgf, for exposed structural components minimum applied dry density is 22 lb/cu ft (paragraph 2.1.1.2)
minimum average thickness is 0.375 inches (paragraph 3.4.4)
works out to 0.69 lb/sq ft (minimum)

lutfi....depends on whether cementitious or non-cementitious binder.
if cementitious (grace monokote or similar), should be between about 22 and 28 pcf. if non-cementitious(cafco blazeshield or similar), will be between about 12 and 15 pcf.
