bom formatting
i want to export my boms to an excel file. this is easy to do, but i am not getting the formatting i want. if i right click, and save as excel i get what i want, but if i use
text = tableannotation.displayedtext ( row, column )
or lukes exportbom macro i get some funny stuff. i have some cells that are different colors than the standard formatting and this is how they are displayed in the excel file

i tried switching "tableannotation.displaytext" to tableannotation.text, but saw no difference. i woudl have thought tableannotation.text would show the font color, but not if i used tableannotation.displaytext
anyone know how to get it to not display the font color stuff, and just show the description?

i will see what i can email when i get into work today. all i did was double-click on a cell in the sw-bom table and then changed the font color. i was thinking of maybe checking the value of the cell and if it begins with a "<" then strip all characters up to the ">"

i'm thinking more along the lines of actually parsing the data to format it in excel with color
