getting oddbobjectid for dwgdbfiler?
hi all :
i'm in the process of writing a oddwgdbfiler-derived class for dumping objects that i can't handle otherwise in my application. i'm perplexed as to how i can read/write oddbobjectid-derived objects (ie handles, softptr etc.) with the api available on oddbobjectid.
am i missing something obvious here? i assume that the object id is an unsigned int (or something of the sort) under the hood but how does one actually gain access to it?

objectid exists only at application run-time (actually it's a memory pointer). objectid is saved to file as handle -oddbobjectid::gethandle().
