object snap

object snap
hi!
i found odgsselectionreactor for handling object selection.
i need some snap functionality e.g. for snaping start-, endpoints or intersections.
are there some plans to implement a object snap functionality in the next one or two years?

yes. entity functions like getosnappoints() are to be implemented in next dd releases.

since you asked about snap probably it would be interesting for you that we are going to implement grip/stretch points get/move.
not in 1.12 but probably in 1.13

usually we release new version in 3-4 months. 1.13 may be release in december or january.

realy good news for me too !! i am also interested with the grip/stretch functionalities.
today if we add to a selection set, a text (oddbtext, oddbattribut...)with a ttf font, it disappear. will it be fixed in the next release ?

it's not only ttf text problem - the behavior is the same for all filled primitives.
but it's not dd problem. it's problem of highlighting in odamfcapp. simple xoring does not work good for all colors and backgrounds. autocad uses also special linetypes and brushes to draw highlighted objects.

if you mean snap/grip/stretch we have not planned to include this in activex yet.
