faa circular for heliports.
the last heliport we did, we followed ibc. ibc 2006, 1605.5. work with the provider of the deck.
see page 137 of the faa circular that civilperson recommended. the circular can be downloaded at this link(free .pdf)
obviously find the weight of the largest helo that may land there
you can find helo size and weight information on airliners.net. they have an aircraft data section that would be useful if you know the types of choppers you're dealing with.
