bluestone mechanical properties
does anyone know of a resource to get some mechanical properties of bluestone? what i am spefically looking for is the tensile strength (for bending). i've done a google search but have come up empty.
find a job or post a job opening
sandstone is quite weak when wet, best not to rely on its tensile properties.
is bluestone sandstone?
it depends where you are from. in melbourne it is a solid basalt, in england it is a dolerite, but in the us (where i assume you are) it is a blue tinged sandstone from ny/pa.
