i-70 thru glenwood canyon, co
my congrats to all those involved in the i-70 construction. i took the amtrak train to glenwood springs, and the effect was marvelous. the camera was going constantly. i-70 started on the north side of the canyon, then entered a tunnel, exited the tunnel, and swept across the canyon over the train tracks, entered another tunnel, exited the tunnel, and swept back to the north side.
the locals are forever grateful. the old passage was single lane both ways.
