Hello,

I was having the same problem on my machine installed with the new Windows 8 and VS2013 released on Aug.15.

Apparently, the problem in my case was the antivirus. (Bitdefender Internet Security 2013).

Problem solved after uninstalling BD. Important note! disabling the BD features is not enough. Only uninstall. I've opened a ticket at Bidefender and waiting for their reply.
