acad2006 dwg opens mutch slower than acad2000 dwg files
acad2006 dwg opens mutch slower than acad2000 dwg files
i notice that loading acad2006 is slower than acad2000 files. i dont know if that is normal or not. i'm speeking that the same file in the two versions the 2000 file is about 10 or more times faster ( is hard to mesure). is that normal??
i'm using the 1.14.02 dwgddirectc++ on a mac g5.
does this happens with some specific file or with all files you have? is the difference (10 times) measured for readfile() or some other operations are performed too?
starting with ac2004 file data is compressed but surely the decompression should not slow down the loading in 10 times.
acis data is also stored in other form but readfile() does not parse this data.

well i test this two files . they are the same file.
the 2000 version preload load and render in about 17 seconds the other thakes 2 mints an 50 seconds.
all this time is taken in the readfile, my process fase only take a 2-3 seconds in both files
the question is that normal? or there is some thing that i can do??
