setlineweight trouble
setlineweight trouble
i call setlineweight() with something like klnwt211 and it seems like the property is correctly set. i get it back when i call lineweight(), however it always seems to draw as if it was klnwtbylayer (the default). is this a bug? or am i missing something?

i call setlineweight() with something like klnwt40 and it seems like the property is correctly set. i get it back when i call lineweight() after i have added the entity to the model space, however it always draws as klnwtbylayer (the default). what am i missing? i have exported the file both as dxg and dxf. there is no dxf 370 record in the dxf file - ddmodify indicates the line weight of my entities are all 'bylayer'. if i then set the lineweight directly in autocad and then save as dxf, the resultant file is amended with the correct 370 record.
ps. at the same time i am setting color, layer etc. and all work ok.
ps. what a ignoramus - i found i was setting the verion number incorrect - sorry for wasting your time.

i've the sam problem, but only when i save file as dxf r14. i use dd 1.13 library. i save file with arguments: kdxf, vac14. the lwdisplay value i set to true, but there is no 370 record in the dxf file.
when i save it as dwg r14, dxf 2000 or dwg 2000 everything is ok. maybe its library bug ?
