dwf export
clients using dwf export must link in these libraries:
dd_dwftoolkit - whip toolkit (3rd party).
dd_dwfexport - dwgdirect dwf export module.
dd_zip - compression lib required by the whip toolkit.
dd_zlib - compression lib required by the whip toolkit.
dwf import
clients using dwf import must link in these libraries:
dd_dwftoolkit - whip toolkit (3rd party).
dd_dwfimport - dwgdirect dwf import module.
dd_zip - compression lib required by the whip toolkit.

svg export
clients using svg export must link in these libraries:
dd_svgexport - dwgdirect svg export module.
as its said in the oda chm file, i would like to know from where could i download the above mentioned toolkits., we are currently using visual stdio 2005e:\oda 2.71\dwgdirect\imports\dwfimport\source\stdafx.h(3 3) : fatal error c1083: cannot open include file: 'whiptk/whip_toolkit.h': no such file or directory
can you please help me with the solution for the above issues to the earliest
you are trying to rebuild dwf import.
do you really need that?
(i mean - there is a binary supplied)

the above issue got encountered when i tried to rebuild the odamfcapp (sample application you provided) with the latest release of oda libraries(version 2.7.3). we are not sure whether we need the above mentioned toolkits. could you please help me with the solution to the earliest.

odamfcapp build issue
i have the same problem in platform vc8md .
problem was encountered in visual studio 2005
which solution, not which compiler.
use e.g.
\dwgdirect\platforms\vc8mdd\projectfiles\dd_ex_vc8 mdd.sln
for static debug build.

i confirm the same problem with
\dwgdirect\platforms\vc8mdd\projectfiles\dd_ex_vc8 mdd.sln.
for years, i had been used to compile all projects (by doing a batch build of everything in all configurations on the solution that was called "allexamples.sln" before 2.7), to be sure i got every binary that were mandatory but not already compiled in oda zip files.
i just did the same on \dwgdirect\platforms\vc8mdd\projectfiles\dd_ex_vc8 mdd.sln. and odamfcapp did not compile.
when i read vkalinin reply "(i mean - there is a binary supplied) ", i understood that having a "rebuild all" for all projects cleaned the mentioned binaries.
as expected, unpacking dd_vc8md.zip again recreates the deleted dlls.
by just getting a "build" on odamfcapp (not "rebuild") after that, you can compile it.
it's a bit tricky for a production release, but anyway, this new structure by projects and by configuration is much cleaner than the previous one :-)

dwf related projects were included to examples solution by mistake, of course they should be optional.
