printing problem
hi to all,
i am trying to print a drawing with a gradient hatch in it with odamfcapp(ver. 1.14.02), but the application crashes every time when i want to see the print preview. i want to know if the problem dues to the gradient hatch or maybe the printer driver. the printer that is installed on my machine is hp designjet 500 24 by hp. i've attached the sample file. acad 2006 prints it with no problems.

i have tested your file with mfcapp 1.14.02. but i didn't get any problems with preview. also i have tested it with last release, it is fine too.

did you test it with the hp designjet 500 24 by hp printer, because
we have problems only with this driver. if you have success with the print preview, try the real printing. to simulate it do the following :
set the printer to print to file and after that open it with the attached plotter simulator. unfortunately i cannot attach the zip file, so try to get the trial version from here:

i got hp 500 drivers. it generates prn file with 1.14.02, but last release has problems with hp 500, i'll check it. i think that problem is in printer initialization code, but not sure.

is there any contents in the generated prn file, because after days of struggling we succeeded to generate such a prn file, but it was empty. try to view it with the plotter simulator, pointed as a link in the previous post.the interesting is that every generated prn has a length - 129kb - it seems something interrupts the print process at one the same stage.
